Privacy Policy

Snakey Launch is a physics-based casual game available as a Telegram Mini App and as a web app. If you access Snakey Launch through Telegram, you are also subject to Telegram's Privacy Policy; if you sign in through Google for web play, Google's Privacy Policy applies to the data Google processes as part of the sign-in. This policy covers what we additionally collect and how we use it.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Snakey Launch.

What We Collect

When you create an account, we receive basic identity information from your authentication provider:

  • Telegram: your Telegram ID, username, and display name.
  • Google (for web play): your Google account ID, email address, and name.

We record which provider you used to sign in. For web play, you stay signed in between sessions using a sign-in credential issued at login.

As you play, we store:

  • Game progress -- current level, scores, and attempt history
  • Gameplay analytics -- we record performance data to improve game balance, maintain fair play, and to operate, secure, and improve the service.
  • Page navigation and in-app interactions -- which screens you visit, time spent on each, and user actions like opening the shop, tapping leaderboard tabs, or sharing a score.
  • Device and browser information -- including user-agent string, screen/viewport size, platform, and language, collected to optimize gameplay and when you submit a bug report.
  • Preferences -- control mode (synced to your account) and audio settings (stored locally on your device via browser local storage)
  • Referral information -- how you found the game (e.g. referral link, bot command, marketing URL), and, if you were invited by another player, who invited you. Your referrer can see when you join and your overall progress.
  • Cosmetic ownership -- which skins you own and have equipped
  • Purchase records -- transaction IDs, the item or Scales pack purchased, any promotional bonuses received, and amount paid.
  • In-game currency balance and activity (earnings, purchases, and spending in Scales).
  • Event and reward program participation -- which events you entered and which rewards you've claimed.
  • Bot interactions (Telegram Mini App only) -- message delivery and responses for the Telegram bot, and whether you've blocked us so we stop contacting you.
  • Shared score images -- when you choose to share your score, we generate an image containing your gameplay status (such as your name, avatar, and recent achievements) and host it via our cloud storage provider so it can be embedded in shared posts. People with the URL can view the image; we may delete or restrict access to specific images on request, subject to caching by external platforms.
  • Security and fraud-prevention logs -- when our systems flag anomalous activity, we log event details.
  • IP address -- used for security and abuse prevention. Not stored in our primary database; may appear in short-lived server logs held by our hosting provider.
  • Support messages and bug reports -- messages you send us, along with automatically collected diagnostic context

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your phone number, contacts, location, or photos. We do not use tracking cookies, and we do not currently use third-party advertising tools. We use browser local storage for app functionality and preferences.

How We Use Your Data

  • Display your name and avatar on leaderboards
  • Track your game progress and scores
  • Process and verify purchases
  • Respond to support requests
  • Optimize gameplay experience across devices

Payments

Payments are currently made with Telegram Stars. For Telegram Stars purchases, payments are processed entirely by Telegram, and we do not see or store any payment method details — we only receive a transaction confirmation from Telegram after a successful purchase.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes. We use third-party infrastructure providers — including hosting, cloud storage (for shared score images), and authentication services (for users who sign in with Google) — which process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.

The following information is visible to other players on public leaderboards: your display name, current level, total score, device category, equipped cosmetics, and ranking position. If someone invites you using a referral link, the person who invited you can see that you joined and your overall progress.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account exists. If you stop using the game, your data remains until you request deletion.

Data Deletion

To delete your account, contact us — through the bot's /paysupport command if you use the Telegram Mini App, or by email at snakey-launch-support@ankokumori.com if you use the web app. We will process your deletion request within a reasonable time, where technically feasible. Some records may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for financial compliance, anti-fraud, or legal obligations. Where we can identify them, shared score images you generated will be deleted or made non-public as part of the same request.
